SwiftInvoice ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use SwiftInvoice at swiftinvoice.pages.dev.

1. Invoice Data — We Don't Collect It

SwiftInvoice works entirely in your browser. When you create an invoice, all data you enter — including your name, your client's name, amounts, tax information, and business details — is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers because we don't have servers for invoice data.

When you download a PDF, the file is generated entirely within your browser. No invoice data leaves your device through our service.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

Like most websites, we may collect certain technical information automatically when you visit SwiftInvoice:

• Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of your visit, time spent on pages, and other diagnostic data. This is collected by our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) and is used to maintain and improve the service.
• Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, traffic sources, approximate location). Google Analytics uses cookies. The data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

3. Cookies

We use the following types of cookies:

• Essential cookies: Required for the site to function (e.g., your browser's localStorage for auto-saving your invoice).
• Analytics cookies: Set by Google Analytics to measure site usage. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tools.
• Advertising cookies: If you see Google AdSense ads, Google may set cookies to personalize ads based on your browsing history. You can manage these preferences at adssettings.google.com.

4. Third-Party Services

SwiftInvoice uses the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare Pages: Hosts the website. Cloudflare may process your IP address and request data per their Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics: Web analytics. Data is processed per Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdSense: Displays advertisements. Google may use cookies to personalize ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Gumroad: Processes payments for SwiftInvoice Pro. If you purchase Pro, your payment is handled by Gumroad per their Privacy Policy. We receive only order confirmation.
• jsPDF (cdnjs.cloudflare.com): JavaScript library loaded from Cloudflare's CDN to generate PDF files in your browser. Your invoice data is not sent to this service.

5. How We Use Information

We use the automatically collected information to:

• Operate and maintain SwiftInvoice
• Analyze how the site is used to improve it
• Detect and prevent technical issues or abuse
• Display relevant advertisements to support the free service

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access and deletion: Your invoice data is stored only in your browser's local storage. You can view or delete it at any time using your browser's developer tools, or by clicking "Clear" in the SwiftInvoice app.
• Analytics opt-out: You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Ad personalization: You can control ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
• GDPR (EU residents): You have rights to access, rectify, and erase personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact us at hello@swiftinvoice.app to exercise these rights.

7. Data Retention

We do not store your invoice data on our servers — it exists only in your browser and is under your control. Analytics data is retained by Google per their standard retention policies.

8. Children's Privacy

SwiftInvoice is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at hello@swiftinvoice.app.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the update date at the top of the page. Continued use of SwiftInvoice after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
