Step 1 — Enter your business details

Step 2 — Add your client's information

Enter your client's name, email, and address in the Bill To section. This information appears prominently on the invoice and in the PDF.

Step 3 — Set invoice details and taxes

Understanding Invoice Tax Systems

VAT / IVA / GST (Added Tax)

VAT is used across Europe, Australia, and Canada. IVA is the equivalent in Latin America and Spain. These taxes are added to the invoice total — the client pays your base price plus the tax amount.

Withholding Taxes (ReteICA, ReteRenta, IRPF, ISR)

Withholding taxes are deducted from your payment. In Colombia, ReteRenta (11%) and ReteICA are withheld by the client. In Spain, IRPF (15%) works the same way. SwiftInvoice handles all of these automatically.
