SwiftInvoice exists for one reason: "I just want a PDF" should be a complete invoicing workflow. No dashboard, no onboarding flow, no subscription — a page that makes the invoice and gets out of the way.
Why we built it
Around 450,000 people in the US search for an invoice generator every month. Most of them land on tools that ask for an email before showing a template, then charge monthly rent to remove limits on something your browser can do for free. The complaint shows up everywhere freelancers gather: the software got heavier than the job.
So SwiftInvoice inverts the usual design. There is no server-side invoice at all. The form, the maths, the layout and the PDF all happen on your device. Your client list — often the most sensitive map of a small business — never leaves it.
Principles
- Free means free. No document limits, no watermark, no trial clock.
- Private by architecture, not by promise. We can't leak, sell or lose data we never receive.
- One job, done well. SwiftInvoice makes invoices. It is not trying to become your accounting suite.
- Honest extras. If Pro launches, it will sell convenience — saved clients, richer branding — never the removal of artificial limits.
