Simple Invoice Generator
Simple means: you, your client, the work, the total, a PDF. This generator strips invoicing back to those five things — no account to create, no dashboard to learn, no monthly plan standing between you and getting paid.
Most invoicing software is built for accounting departments. If you send a handful of invoices a month, you need a page that turns "website work — $500" into a professional invoice before your coffee cools. This is that page.
| Description | Qty | Price | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Consulting services | 1 | $500.00 | $500.00 |
Live preview — the PDF prints exactly this sheet, nothing else.
Built for the one-minute invoice
- Start typing immediately. The invoice number and dates are pre-filled sensibly; your business details are remembered on this device after the first use.
- Nothing to learn. Add a line, set a quantity and price, done. Discount and tax are there if you need them and invisible if you don't.
- Professional output. Simple input doesn't mean amateur output — the PDF is a clean, standard-layout invoice clients can forward straight to their bookkeeper.
- Private. Your rates and client list stay in your browser. There is no database of your business sitting on someone's server.
Need a specific tax setup instead? The same simple generator comes preset for US sales tax, UK VAT at 20% and Australian GST at 10%.
Simple invoicing FAQ
How long does an invoice take here?
About a minute once your details are saved. First time in, allow two: one to type your business details (a one-time cost — the browser remembers them) and one for the client's.
Is simple good enough for my clients?
Yes. The output includes every element a standard invoice needs: unique number, dates, both parties, itemised lines, tax shown separately and a total. Larger clients care about those fields, not about which software made the PDF.
What if I invoice every week?
Your last invoice stays saved as a draft in your browser — update the number, dates and lines and download again. If you outgrow that and want saved client records, that's exactly what the upcoming Pro plan adds (see Pricing).
